Marriage Preparation

Couple intending to receive the Sacrament of Marriage in the Catholic Church are required to complete
formal Marriage Preparation - either in the form of classes, a sponsored retreat weekend, individual instruction,
or a combination of these. Couples are usually mentored by mature Catholic couples as well.

If you are civilly married but not "married in the church," you may go through a process

to have your marriage convalidated and to receive the Sacrament of Marriage.

Please contact Rebecca Braun for more information about this process.

At Holy Disciples, we encourage couples to attend an in-person Betrothed weekend retreat sponsored
