Couple intending to receive the Sacrament of Marriage in the Catholic Church are required to complete
formal Marriage Preparation - either in the form of classes, a sponsored retreat weekend, individual instruction,
or a combination of these. Couples are usually mentored by mature Catholic couples as well.

At Holy Disciples, we encourage couples to attend an in-person Betrothed weekend retreat sponsored
by the Archdiocese of Seattle or participate in the online Joy-Filled Marriage program.
