Youth Ministries

Youth Ministry Mission Statement

We provide leadership, catechesis, retreats, service opportunities, social events, and ongoing Gospel-centered formation to assist our parish teenagers to deepen their experience of their Catholic faith and to become disciples of Jesus. We welcome all teenagers into full participation in our community. We accomplish this through our guidance, encouragement, companionship, participation with and evangelization of youth, 6th grade through 12th grade.

Message from Amanda

"I know that it is not ideal to meet for Youth Group over Zoom. It is way more fun to be together in person to hug, to play games, to worship the Lord and learn together. Unfortunately, the present time calls us to rise to a new challenge and to love our neighbors so much that we are willing to make the sacrifice and gather virtually instead. It is a top priority of mine to acknowledge and validate the tough times we are facing, to create a space for our students to express their fears, frustrations, anger, excitement, joy and laughter all in one place. Why is this important? Because when we all relate to each other, we build community. That is when the trust develops and we can explore our faith in a deeper and more meaningful way. I look forward to seeing you in Youth Group. Let's make it a great year!"
